![]() ![]() She began her career in 1956 in the Army Engineering Maintenance Center in Columbus, Ohio and then moved on to Washington D.C. Marla worked for the federal government for more than 36 years. (She used to cheer on the Chargers but that ended abruptly when they left SD) She was an avid sports fan cheering on her Padres, Buckeyes, Aztecs and Clemson Tigers. Marla is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews…all of whom loved her very very much. ![]() ![]() She is preceded in death by said brothers and sisters LaMar, Lois, Audrey, Bud, Rose, Al, and Mary Lou. The last of eight brothers and sisters, she was also the last to leave us on the 6th of April, 2022. Marla Ann Dotson was born on the 6th of Dec, 1937 in Groveport Ohio. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, will be at the home of Julie and Franck Valles. Her common sense and constant support will be missed by all those who knew her. She brought a rich tapestry of songs, games, and love of sports, into our lives. Marla Ann Dotson A beloved aunt and friend, she passed away, age 84, in the home of her niece. ![]()
